Stuart Zicherman is a New York based filmmaker who most recently was a Writer and Co-Executive producer of FX’s acclaimed series The Americans. He also just completed the new pilot Casanova for Amazon Studios, directed by Academy Award nominee Jean-Pierre Juenet and starring Diego Luna.
On the feature side, Stu has written or re-written feature film scripts for Sony, Dreamworks, New Line, Fox, Universal and Warner Brothers. His most recent project is the Disney feature “Magic Camp,” a script he wrote with Steve Martin. Stu made his directorial debut at the 2013 Sundance Film Festival with the comedy “A.C.O.D.” It stands for Adult Children of Divorce and stars Adam Scott, Richard Jenkins, Catherine O’Hara, Amy Poelher and Jane Lynch. He most recently directed a 30-for-30 for ESPN called The Great Trade Robbery about the largest trade in NFL history, the 1989 trade of Herschel Walker.
Next up for Stu is a half-hour comedy for Showtime called MATING that he created with Jason Katims (Friday Night Lights).
